My creative exploration, in part, is to incorporate new technologies as they become available. Progress in electronics, mass media and the digital arts continually offer new methods to be explored and incorporated. I am currently fusing digital photography and site specific, modular constructs on location. I am exploring performance, sculpture and photography.
As a Visual Artist, my concerns are for the areas sense of community, history and the environment. My community's identity has been appropriated by theme parks. Massive development threatens the fragile ecosystem. Because my work is about where I live, it is very immediate, conceptual and topical. My resources are print and televised media, professional manuals / trade publications, the Internet and my personal observations.
